Our Story

Marwood & Co was born out of frustration with the way candles are usually designed.

Too often, candles smell good but look visually loud, cluttered labels, too much information, too many colours. Instead of adding calm to a space, they create noise. Choosing a candle becomes overwhelming, and once it’s lit, it doesn’t always belong in the room.

We believed something was missing.

We wanted candles that feel as intentional as the spaces they live in. Candles that look beautiful even when they’re not lit. Candles that sit quietly in a room and elevate the atmosphere rather than compete with it.
